Located in Guelph, Ontario, The Landing supports six residents with diverse abilities in an independent-living, family-style environment that encourages the development of essential life skills. The home fosters community integration and personal growth through active participation in church life, local employment, and meaningful volunteer positions.

About the Home

Our newest home, The Landing, proudly welcomed its first residents in December 2025, marking our expansion into the beautiful city of Guelph. This home supports six individuals with a variety of abilities, with access to jobs, volunteering, parks, and public transportation. The Landing features an open-concept living area and kitchen, a deck overlooking the backyard, and a bright walkout basement.

 

This home is set up to support residents in a more independent-living setting, while maintaining a family-style atmosphere as a single housekeeping unit.  Residents are encouraged to develop and maintain many life skills as they are able, such as self-care, cooking, cleaning, employment, and driving.

 

The residents attend Emmanual Canadian Reformed Church and have become well integrated in the church community in Guelph. Furthermore, they have found employment at a mechanic shop, plus volunteer positions at the Mission Thrift Store as well as the Ontario Christian Gleaners.
